Five Under £5 – Easter

Easter has never really interested me that much.  I looked forward to the long weekend and hopefully some sunshine.  This year things are different.  This year I foolishly agreed to give up chocolate for lent along with Big and The Husband.  Me!  A self confessed chocoholic.

Miraculously I have made it this far and I haven’t been served with divorce papers.  I have been miserable.  But because of the absence of chocolate in my life I am really really looking forward to Easter, and if The Husband knows what’s good for him, there had better be an extra large Easter egg with my name on it.

So onto this months Five Under £5 with an Easter vibe…

 

 

Easter wouldn’t be Easter without Malteaster bunnies.  They are my favourites.  I can’t wait to devour this little bag of bunnies on Easter Sunday.  I picked up these yummy treats in Wilko’s at 95p for a bag.

I couldn’t resist the cute bunny pillow.  I’ve called him ‘Fred’ and I have no idea what I’m going to do with him!  It might become a gift for the next birthday party Big gets invited to. Anyway I found him in Peacocks reduced from £7 to £3.50.

 

Whilst in Wilko’s I also picked up these Easter cups for the kids.  They are full of marshmallows and jelly sweets.  I thought they made a nice change from all the chocolate treats they will get, and they are only £1 each.

I couldn’t not include tulips this month.  They are my favourite flower and a little treat for me when I do the weekly shop.  I paid £2.50 for a bunch of bright yellow tulips.

 

And finally if Easter’s not an excuse to get out the bunting, I don’t know what is.  Especially Cath Kidston bunting.  I purchased this from ebay for £4.95.
