We’ve bought a tent. It’s huge. The aim is to be able to go away for weekends with the kids and enjoy family time together. I guess the enjoyment factor depends on how many bugs there are and how cold it is!
Of course in my mind I’ve envisaged fairly lights and toasted marshmallows. Luckily the husband has taken the lead on all the practical things we actually need. I’m hoping that next year we can take the kids to somewhere like Bestival. I was thinking about this whilst browsing the clearance section online in Next and came across these great finds. And that’s why this month’s five under £5 is all about the festival vibes.
(I highly recommend the Next clearance section. You can get some great bargains there).

The first bargain I picked up were these gorgeous pink sunglasses for just £4. Sunglasses are my favourite Summer accessory and I like to have different options depending on what I am wearing. These were £4.

Next was this gorgeous necklace for £5. The longest disc is on a separate chain, so it’s actually three different looks. You could wear the largest one on it’s own, the two smaller ones, or all three together.

Now if this straw trilby doesn’t scream festival vibes at you, I don’t know what will! I love a hat. I really love a hat that costs just £4! Roll on Summer so I can wear this one.

Another accessory that I love in summer time is a belt. Although I have lots of variations on the brown belt, so I loved this rose gold one to give my wardrobe a bit of variety. This was reduced to £4.

Finally I have this gorgeous pink snood style scarf. It’s lightweight but perfect for the cooler Summer evenings. Don’t tell the husband because he bought me this as a gift and paid full price, but it is now in the clearance for just £5.

So that’s my five under £5 festival buys. I hope it’s inspired you to have a hunt through the Next clearance section.
What’s you ultimate festival accessory?
The background for these photos is a gorgeous marble backdrop from Capture By Lucy. Her backdrops are beautiful and I want all of them, along with Lucy’s photography skills!
