Christmas without decorations is like Shrove Tuesday without pancakes. Just plain wrong!
My parents house is a Santa’s grotto at Christmas. It is full to the brim with decorations. But each year I seem to add more and more to my collection, so by the time I’m their age I will have my own Santa’s grotto.
Although this year I might blame Julie who started Five Under £5, for the influx of new decorations in my house. Julie made a comment on my post last month, that maybe we should do ten under £5 for Christmas. Challenge accepted Julie!

I seem to be drawn to decorations made out of natural materials, and on my tree my decorations are white, silver and gold.

- Hanging heart B&M Stores £1.00.
- Gold star tree decoration John Lewis £2.00
- Wooden star decoration Next £4.00

- Merry Christmas wreath John Lewis £4.00
- Noel decoration Wilko £1.50
It’s not Christmas until I’ve had a nose around the decorations in John Lewis!

One thing I hate at Christmas is tinsel. Each to their own, but it’s not coming near my tree. Instead I use garlands like this beautiful gold one I picked up in Matalan for £3.00.
The ‘Be Merry’ sign was also form Matalan for £3.00.
I absolutely loved these wooden Christmas trees from Wilko. They are only £1.00!
The ‘Joy’ sign was £2.00 from a gift shop in the New Forest.

And finally I picked up this awesome Christmas jumper garland from Paperchase in their sale last month for £4.00. It’s instantly my favourite decoration. I love it!

I love the jumper garland too that is so cute! My decoration collection keeps growing, I can’t resist John Lewis decorations and Silk is fab this year too #fiveunder5
I love the Christmas jumper garland!! So cute. Wilko’s is one of my favourite places for decorations but I haven’t been in there yet this year, I’ll have to get some wooden trees. I think I need more than one Christmas trees now though. I also quite like Ikea for decorations as you can get some different stuff in there!
