I used to spend all day sat at my desk in an office. Now I spend all day running round after the kids. In theory I should be a size 10, and here’s why…
The School Run:
I mean that quite literally. Going to pick the big one up from school with the little one is akin to interval training. The little one has two speeds. Full speed, or stop. He runs for thirty seconds (and though he be but little he is fast!) then stops for 10 seconds then off he goes again. And of course being part of my job is to protect him from harm and oncoming traffic, when he runs, I run too. Add to this the return journey involves me carrying school bags, discarded coats and lunchboxes, by the time we get home I’ve had a full workout.
Toy cars seem to multiply in my house. And they multiply all over the lounge floor. I must do at least 100 squats a day picking up toys just to clear a path through the destruction of my living room. Tidying up after small people is a complete legs, bums and tums workout.
The little one is going through a rather clingy phase at the moment and wants to be picked up all the time. He’s heavy! There’s definitely no need for me to bench press in the gym when I’m carrying around a two year old!
So between running, legs bums and tums work out and weight lifting, I think I get a pretty good toddler workout!

What is LighterLife Fast?

This week I’m really chuffed to have got my first stone. Next goal will be one and a half stone.
