The older I have got the more I have stopped following fashion trends, and realised I like to wear what I feel good in, as apposed to what the latest styles are. So when JD Williams contacted me and offered to gift me anything from their range I was spoilt for choice.
I’ve also not been able to stop humming the Roxette classic, hence the title of this post. And if you don’t know who Roxette are , you my friend, are missing out on some classics.
I prefer to wear dresses as I think they suit me better than trousers or jeans. Plus the fact that I am way shorter than your average short person, trousers are always too long for me, and I am no seamstress.
The dress I opted for has a jersey like feel to it and pretty detail on the neckline. It’s a flattering shape and has every girls favourite, pockets! It was great for running around after the kids. It didn’t rise up so I wasn’t forever hoiking it about. Practical and stylish! I loved it and wore it with these really comfortable boots.
The dress is available in sizes 10 – 32 and costs £49.
I’m basically a boots or sandals girl. I do not own any trainers. A few years ago I decided that the few pairs I owned, I never wore because they just don’t feel like me, so I got rid and stopped buying them in an attempt to make myself like them!
I love the colour of these boots, as they will go with anything and they are less wintry than the darker colours. Plus they are in the sale right now so you can grab these from £22.50.
The favourite thing JD Williams sent me is this grey biker jacket. I have been looking for a lightweight jacket for the Spring Season for years and never found ‘the one’.
I really struggle with jackets, because again, short girl problems, the darts for the waist normally sit on my hips. The part designed for the smallest part of you sitting at the biggest part of you is never a good look. Plus the arms are always ridiculously long on me, and I end up looking like a kid wearing grown up clothes.
This jacket fits me, and I love it. So much so I think I’m going to buy it another colour. So if you are vertically challenged the biker jacket is your friend. You can check out JD Williams range of coats and jackets here.
The jacket is available in sizes 10 – 32 and costs £55.
What is your nemesis when it comes to clothes?

I was gifted the clothing but all views and opinions are my own.
