But Friday Frolics is all about the funny, normally parenting funny. And at the core of this terrorist attack was parents. Parents like you or I that had made the agonising choice to give their children some freedom. Parents that were nervously watching their phones to know that their child was ok. Parents who had no way of knowing what was going to happen.
I am always honest on my blog about the highs and lows of parenting. I am a firm believer in humour to make the bad days better. But it didn’t seem right to be laughing about tantrums and nits and bedtime shenanigans, when there are parents who can no longer kiss their child goodnight.
It is not through fear that we will not be running Friday Frolics this week. But through respect for those parents who are living every parents worst nightmare.
See you next week.
