Steam Locomotive By Toft Workshop
This beautiful handmade wooden train is produced in the UK using recycled parquet flooring. All of these vehicles are hand finished and no two are the same. This is a beautiful hand-made gift, ethically sourced and completely unique. A really special toy to pass through generations.

I love baby sleeping bags. It has always given me comfort and peace of mind knowing my little ones weren’t tangled up in blankets or cold because they have kicked them off. What’s great about this sleeping bag is that it adjusts from 0-6 months to 6-18 months. So it’s really one sleeping bag instead of three! The sleeping backs are made from natural and comfortable materials so are good for baby and kind to the environment. The penguin design is pretty cute too.

Crochet Organic Cotton Monkey by Anne-Claire Petit
This fabulously colourful little guy is made from 100% organic cotton. But what is really special about him, is how he is made. Made by a team of women in Asia who are able to set their own hours around their child care and crop harvesting to enable them to earn an income for most of the year.
£24 (Other crochet animals available)
Slipper Socks by Collegien
Wooden floors in my house mean non-slip soles on slippers are a must. There is a dent in my front door testament to this fact, caused by the head of an overzealous small person completely misjudging his slide to speed ratio. These slipper socks produced in the south of France are breathable, flexible and of course, non-slip. They are super cute too.
£22 (Other designs available)
First Shoes by Bobux
These cute little shoes are designed for the crawling and cruising baby. They have an elasticated opening to make it easier to get on and off your moving target, a soft and flexible sole, and micro-armor toe cap for protecting those little piggies. Comfortable, practical and cute. Everything your baby’s feet need.
£27 (Other colours available)
Fuzzy Fleece Dressing Gown by Hatley
This dressing gown looks so warm and snugly I want to be wrapped in it and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows. The Hatley company has been trading children’s clothing for 20 years and ensures all their clothes are produced ethically using environmentally friendly materials and methods.
£29 (other prints available)
Dragon Pyjamas by Hatley
Environmentally friendly pajamas perfect for your little knight. Made from 100% soft jersey cotton and snug fit design which I always find extra cuddly. Available in sizes 2-12.
£21.95 (Other designs available)
Deer Pyjamas by Hately
If your small person is a lover of all things pink then these are the perfect pyjamas. Just like the dragon set above they are Made from 100% soft jersey cotton and snug fit design. Available in sizes 2-12.
£21.95 (Other designs available)
I hate buying printed T-shirts that come out of the first wash looking 10 years old. This is a printed T-shirt with a difference. Well several actually. Firstly the printing process pulls the dye colour from the garment and replaces it with the ink. Secondly Mountain only use water based inks which make it incredibly soft and means there are no irritable chemicals. Astonishingly 99.5% of other T-shirt printers used inks that are petroleum-based. If washed according to the instructions the print will stay vibrant for years. As well as all that great stuff the T-shirt is 100% super soft cotton and available in sizes 4-11.
£13.99 (Other designs available)
Boris Bobble Hat by Indikidual
One of the things I love most about winter is hats. Particularly bobble hats. And this Boris bobble hat really caught my eye. Available in a range of really bright colours and made from 100% organic cotton.
£25 (Other colours available)

Lovely gifts. I wish that environmentally friendly toys and products were a little more affordable though. I think I shall have to continue appeasing my conscience by buying second hand.
