This months Blog Love is dedicated to Laura who blogs at Five Little Doves.
Life can sometimes be really crap. And there are people out there that have way more than their fair share of crap to deal with. Laura is one of those people. She has suffered many miscarriages, her son Joseph was stillborn, and she has her own health problems. More than enough for anyone to deal with.
You’d forgive Laura for being a negative person, cynical even. But she’s not. Even in the most emotionally raw posts Laura’s positivity shines through. Her ability to see the good and beautiful in everyone and everything (except maybe going on holidays) never fails to make me smile.
Laura uses her experiences to raise awareness for fantastic causes such as SANDS. I can only begin to imagine how many people Laura has helped with her writing.
And on the subject of Laura’s writing, Wow! A single post written by Laura can have me both sobbing and laughing until my sides hurt. Her words are always incredibly powerful and deeply personal. She is in my opinion one of the most talented writers around.
As well as being an amazing writer, Laura also takes beautiful pictures of her children. They always make me smile when they pop up in my instagram feed.
Laura’s blog has a lot to offer, from raising awareness, to crafts, baking, days out, and musing about family life in general.
I think I have a bit of a blogging crush.
If you haven’t yet visited Laura’s blog, please go and give it a read.
Here are just a few fantastic posts from Laura. Tissue warning.
