Christmas time. Presents, decorations, family and friends, and of course the food. Arden & Amici kindly sent me these products for a five under £5 post and I think you will love them as much as I do.
Arden & Amici use tradition methods and quality ingredients to bring you an authentic taste of Italy.
Panettone has become a bit of a Christmas tradition in our family, as my brother is always gifted the largest panettone ever by his employers. It’s bigger than my head! I love Panettone when it is toasted. It’s like fruit toast and is delicious.
The Arden & Amici panettone each take 60 hours to produce and are wrapped by hand. We were send the chocolate and the cranberry and orange to try, although I didn’t get much of a look in before the kids devoured them. These are available in most supermarkets. Tesco’s currently have and offer of 2 for £3 on the 100g panettone and the 500g one is just £4.
Public Service Announcement: The large panettone is available in Prosecco flavour. You are welcome.
The soft amaretti biscuits come in a tin and are individually wrapped. They have a cake like texture and they smell Ahh-Maze-Ing. These are available from Acado at £4.99 for a 200g Tin. I think they would look very festive on the dinner table served with the coffees. And even though you might be full to bursting after your roast turkey and Christmas pudding, there’s always room for one more!
Finally we have the almond cantuccini. I was a bit apprehensive to bite these as the cantuccini I have tried in the past can break your teeth! These however were beautifully crunchy. Again they smelt amazing and wow are they moreish! I just looked on the Arden & Amici website and saw a recipe for a chocolate dipping sauce to accompany these. I think I am ruined forever! The cantuccini were from Acado and priced at £2.55
Check out the Arden & Amici website for their full range and some seriously mouth watering recipes, including this chocolate salami, made using Arden & Amici almond and chocolate biscotti.

I think these products make beautiful gifts too. I’m always on the look out for lower value items to go with bigger things I have bought and the Arden & Amici range is perfect for this as well as hamper gifts.
I hope that has got your taste buds going. If you can’t indulge at Christmas, when can you?!
I was sent the Arden & Amici products for this post but all views are my own.
