I am loving my 5 under £5 finds this month.  They are quite colour coordinated too!

5 under £5

The sunglasses were inspired by The Hearty Life’s 5 under £5 post last month.  I’ve been after some new sunnies and I love a pair of aviators.  Everyone looks cool in aviators right?  In fact even one of the big one’s classmates commented when I went to pick him up from school wearing them.  He said ” Your Mummy looks like a really cool dude.”  I’m ignoring the ‘dude’ part and taking that as a win from a 5 year old!  These were £2 from Primark.  I bought several pairs in different colours!

The Never Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle sign was 99p from The Card Factory.  It has taken pride of place on my notice board.  The Card Factory is becoming one of my go-to places for little knick knacks.

We’ve just finished decorating our bedroom and I found some great accessories at bargain prices.  (If you fancy a giggle you can read about our DIY exploits, or have a nose around our re-vamped bedroom.)

The cute little bird hooks were an e-bay find.  I bought a couple and they look lovely in our bedroom.  They are available in different colours and different designs.  They were £2.90 each.  I just searched decorative hooks and there were hundreds to choose from.

The hearts were from The Range, a pack of three for just £1.99.  I love the little finds at The Range.

They look gorgeous on our bedside tables next to pictures of the boys.

And lastly these cute mini plant pots which were from Poundland, so no surprises in that the set cost, wait for it, £1!  They are from their new Charlie Dimmock range.  I love them, but I am rubbish at growing green things.  Even the lowest maintenance plants die at my hands.  I will be giving these to a friend who I know will love them.

  1. What a great selection! I must pop into the Card Factory, that little card is very sweet. I too love the Charlie Dimmock range at PL- I have featured a couple in my #fiveunder5 too!!

  2. I love the sunglasses! Ibuy sunglasses from Primark every year – I can never have experience ones as I’ll inevitably loose them or break them so the Primark ones are perfect! I need to stock up now the sun has made an appearance #fiveunder5

  3. Woah thanks for the shout out 🙂 haha I am laughing my head off that you went and bought several pairs in different colours pahahaha too funny!! But yeah aviators are a great look on most and why not for 2 ruddy quid!

Loving those plant pot things form the pound shop – totally grabbing myself some of those 🙂 x #fiveunder5

  4. Oh I love those plant pots, I may have to venture to poundland. They would be really cute on the kitchen windowsill with herbs growing inside. I love the sunglasses too, another thing for me to buy, I need some new ones x

  5. Hi Claire, my favourites are most definitely the hearts and the mini pots. The hearts have added a little something to your photos and the post could be used to hold all sorts of junk and all at a bargain price!

  6. What a lovely haul – love a bird hook, me! Have several but you can never have enough. I hadn’t heard of this linky, it’s a really cute one so will have to join in one day. Congrats again for your BIBS nomination! x

  7. Your bedroom makeover looks really lovely, some great things there! I really like the colour of the walls too. I don’t think you can ever have too many pairs of sunnies, I am always losing them so it’s good to have pairs dotted round the house! x
