Liverpool ONE have put together a guide of things to do and there is definitely something for everyone. Whether you’re close enough to visit for the day or looking for a longer stay, keep reading to find out what’s on in Liverpool over the next few months.

Activities for the kids

If you’re looking for something to keep the kids busy during school holidays then check out the Dinosaurs Unleashed event that’s happening in Liverpool ONE until June. Simply download the free app from the App Store or Google Play and start your virtual dinosaur hunt, locating the different hatching points that can be found in and around Liverpool One. If your little ones are Disney-obsessed then The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice will be a magical experience for them, as their favourite characters head on over to the M&S Bank Arena from the 17th – 21st April.

Music to your ears

Liverpool is well-known for its music and this year, there are a number of music events happening. You can see a whole host of artists including Rita Ora, Olly Murs and Mumford & Sons at the M&S Bank Arena, or why not make a weekend of it and check out Liverpool Sound City in May? This festival takes place across a variety of venues in Liverpool and you’ll get to see local, national and international talent. Chart-topping artists such as Take That, Bon Jovi and Pink are also performing at Anfield Stadium at various dates in June.

For the sport lovers

Liverpool is a city known for its football teams but did you know there are other sporting events taking place over the next few months? On the 25th and 26th of May you can take part in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon which is taking place across the city centre. The Vitality Netball World Cup is also happening in Liverpool this July and Anfield Stadium will also host the Super League Magic Weekend in May.

Working up an appetite

If you still can’t get enough of chocolate after the Easter holidays, then you’re in luck as Hotel Chocolat hosts an exclusive chocolate lock-in from 23rd – 25th April where you’ll even be greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival! If you’re just looking to quench your thirst then the Bordeaux Wine Festival may be the event for you. Taking place on the weekend of 31st May, you’ll get to try a selection of rosés, reds and whites while nibbling on tasty treats – what more could you want?
